CHANTILLY, Va., May 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) announced today that the Los Angeles County Transportation Authority (Metro) has opened the D Line Subway Extension Section 1 project. The D Line Extension project is being built in three sections and will ultimately extend the transit system westward for about nine miles under Wilshire Boulevard. Section 1 includes the design and construction of 3.9 miles of subway from the current terminus at Wilshire/Western in the city of Los Angeles to the city of Beverly Hills with three new underground stations at La Brea, Fairfax, and La Cienega.
