The Board of Directors (Board) of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank) has approved $50.8 million in award grants under FHLBank’s Affordable Housing Program (AHP) and $30.0 million through its voluntary housing grant initiative. The $30.0 million voluntary housing grant initiative total includes an additional $12 million that the Board approved beyond the initial $18 million that was announced at round opening. The grants will help finance 73 housing projects, creating 1,581 homes for very low-, low- and moderate-income individuals and families.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank), in conjunction with its housing finance agency partners, announced that $8.447 million in Home4Good grants have been awarded this year to support 95 programs in Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in the fight against homelessness. FHLBank contributed $6 million to the initiative in 2024, and its partners – the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA), the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund (WVHDF) – contributed an additional $2.447 million.

The Board of Directors of FHLBank Pittsburgh (FHLBank) has approved $8.9 million in awarded grants under the Affordable Housing Program (AHP) and $10.1 million in awarded grants through a voluntary housing grant initiative.
