Seoul, South Korea - SOOP announced on Wednesday, April 30 (KST), that it is launching a brand advertising campaign with global esports company T1 Entertainment & Sports (hereafter T1).
This brand advertisement was designed to promote the live streaming platform 'SOOP' and expand user participation within the platform. After changing its company name and launching the service globally under the same name last year, SOOP has been strengthening its platform competitiveness through global expansion and new business ventures, such as AI.
In line with these platform changes and expansion, SOOP plans to further strengthen brand synergy through its partnership with T1, with whom it has collaborated for a long time. Since signing exclusive live streaming contracts with T1 and several other LCK teams in 2022, SOOP has supported T1 team members in showcasing content and directly communicating with users through the platform. In particular, T1’s 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok made a name for himself on SOOP as streamer 'Gojeonpa' before his professional debut, making this brand advertisement a meaningful moment as he reunites with the platform.

Ahead of the advertisement release, SOOP has unveiled the first teaser video featuring T1’s representative player, 'Faker', through its official website and social media channels.
The released teaser video shows only 'Faker' and the date 'May 16, 2025,' heightening users’ anticipation for the main advertisement and its message. Before the main advertisement video release on Friday, May 16 (KST), SOOP plans to release behind-the-scenes footage from the advertisement filming on Wednesday, May 7 (KST).
