Earnings Surge For Silicon Laboratories

Shares of Silicon Laboratories Inc. (Nasdaq: SLAB) surged $3.38 to close at $31.85 after the chipmaker posted higher revenues and earnings of 38 cents per share compared with 9 cents per share in the year ago period that met expectations.
